Found in most areas east of the Rocky Mountains throughout the summer months, the orchard oriole is nearly non-existent in America during the winter months. While on American soil, these birds can be found in open park-like areas and, you guessed it, orchards where they can be found eating a wide variety of fruits and keeping the insect population at bay.
You may find this smallish oriole taking small seeds and fruits from your feeders during the spring and summer months.
