Northern Flicker

Woodpeckers • NE, NW, SE, SW

Although technically a woodpecker, the northern flicker can most often be found on the ground participating in its favorite activity, eating ants. But when this food of choice becomes low in supply, he will partake in a variety of fruits and seeds.
