

As their name suggests, cactus wrens are most common in the deserts of the southwest. While perfectly happy in their arid homes, they will occasionally mosey into town to hit the local watering hole.
They will eat some seeds and fruits if available, but primarily snack on beetles, wasps, spiders and other insects; occasional small reptiles are not uncommon to be eaten as well.
